A stunning and extremely impressive antique French Louis XIV style display cabinet, which I would date from around the 1930-50’s period. It is both breakfront & serpentine shaped.
It is of amazing quality, you don’t often see them in this scale and so well made. It has beautiful gilt bronze mounts everywhere, and five gorgeous painted lower panels. The interior is fabric lined, the lower fabric shelf is removable and the two upper glass shelves are also removable.
The condition is very good for its age, with normal age related wear to the wood, and no damage to be seen. The off white fabric lining is also in good overall condition, with only some minor surface wear.
