French Mother Of Pearl Horse Head Page Turner
Very pretty late 19th century French mother of pearl page turner or letter opener with the top intricately carved as a horse head with reins rising out of a tulip flower. A small silver band wraps around the middle with engraved detail either side. The detail of the carving is really lovely. The silver is unmarked.
It measures 8 1/2" (22cm) long and just over 1" (2.5cm) wide. Condition is excellent with no damage or repair.
