A pair of early 20th Century ornate French decorative garden chairs.

The chairs have that worn distressed painted finish with slight surface rust, having been used over the years, hence obtaining the overall weathered patina. They are heavy quality, sturdy, solid and totally useable.
The detailing is highly ornate. The overall ironwork has a rope twist design and the seats are perforated patterned metal. Shaping of the scroll work design is exceptional. There are hues of previous painted layers. Pad feet detail to the legs.

The chairs are equally suitable for re-painting to any colour of your choice, if you so desired, or left as is to weather further or sealed with a metal sealer, thus preserving the existing finish.
