A French 19th Century painted Commode Chest of drawers dating from c 1840. The thick Variegated marble top with rounded corners above a concave shaped drawer with gilt brass escutcheon above a gilt moulding. Below, three long drawers with gilt brass escutcheons and handles above a shaped and gilt apron, the whole resting on sectional angular feet. Excellent condition, the paint a little worn. The key in the top drawer facilitates the opening of the drawer but does not turn the lock. Payments can be made via bank transfer. We also accept all major credit cards.
