A very nice Worcester spiral fluted tea bowl and saucer decorated with a mazarine blue rim border to the saucer and inside the cup with gilded corn ears and dots. A husk pattern outer border to the tea bowl and inner to the saucer and 3 bellflowers to each piece also all in mazarine blue and gold. A stylised chrysanthemum flower sits in the centre of both pieces. Flight period, c.1785, both pieces marked with a small crescent.

The saucer measures 13.5cm (5 1/4") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") high and the tea bowl measures 8.5cm (3 3/8") wide and 5cm (2") high. Condition is very good with no damage or repair, both pieces ping nicely. Surface wear is very light, just a little to the rim of the bowl. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
