Finely carved figure of Shou Lao who represents long life and good fortune. He holds a gnarled staff in one hand and the 'Golden Peach of Immortality' in the other. Carved from a single piece of boxwood, the craftsmanship is of the highest order with considerable attention paid by the carver to the staff, facial hair and flowing robes.
