Esavian Stacking Chairs
The price is for one Esavian chair only, although more are available to purchase.
Esavian chairs were popular within schools in the mid twentieth century and would now make fantastic dining chairs in a retro inspired bar, restaurant, or home kitchen.
The chairs frames are made from die-cast aluminium and have a mint green colour that has acquired a distressed finish over the years. The seats and backrests are made from plywood.
The chairs were designed by British designer James Leonard and produced by Esavian in the late 1940s. They are a classic example of post-World War II utilitarian styling.
Please be aware that these chairs are approximately 60 years old and will show signs of wear and tear consistent with their age.
