Early 1960′s Ercol dining table and 6 matching Ercol ‘Quaker’ dining chairs including two carvers. A wonderful example of British mid-century design, the flared and tapered legs giving it a lightness and stylistic optimism typical of the period whilst the use of natural materials root it in the traditions of British antique furniture making and ensure its quality and durability.
Well figured elm top table on beech legs. In excellent condition, good colour and retaining the original maker’s label. The dining chairs are contemporary with the table, in beech with elm seats. Again condition is excellent with no movement in the backs or legs. Good even colour and one of the carvers carries the original Ercol label.
