This attractive Ercol ‘Pandora’ coffee table / occasional table, first introduced in the 1970s, continues to be a timeless and popular design by Don Pedel (b-1933) a Design Director at Ercol until 1993.
Made from elm and incorporating two small drawers and useful under-shelf, the table is labelled and dated 1979, and raised on sturdy castors for easy movement. The large square top surface has one or two minor compression marks to be expected in an original item of this age - see photos. However, the overall condition is still very good indeed demonstrating previous care and appreciation of the piece.
