A rather fine, English oak campaign box.
Simple, practical and made for a purpose to a good quality.
Retaining it's internal original pen tray with sliding cover.
Lower drawer, sliding freely showing historic indentations to brass handles as may be expected
Quality, brass escutcheon & original brass handles
In good condition retaining both locks but no keys
Previous replacement of hinges.
We have estimated the age as 19th Century
