This is a very good quality antique English mahogany Victorian style swivel green leather Captains’ office armchair (circa 1960 - 1980). The chair features the original deep-buttoned green leather seat, back and arms. The chair features its original seat studwork it has elegant shaped arms and a spindled back. The base of the chair features elegant splayed mahogany legs and the original castors. The chair has a classic rich brown mahogany colour. The chair rotates 360 degrees and has a reclining action and the height can be adjusted. The chair is very comfortable and has fantastic colour leather. The chair is in very good original condition, which is what gives the lovely patination and colour this has been generated by the years of cleaning and care it has have received.

Condition The chair is in excellent working order and condition it is also completely original. It has the original working mechanism, leather and castors, lifts up and down and reclines. The leather is also in good condition with minor wear to the back of the seat which is due to the usage the chair has received over its life (see photos). Nominal old use marks to the leather and frame but nothing significant considering its age. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
