A stylish and iconic design, this tulip dining table and four matching swivel dining chairs were designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in the 1950’s.

This example is from the 50th anniversary edition, made by Knoll and dating from the early 2000’s. The quality is outstanding as you would expect, the chairs all swivel smoothly and are very comfortable.

The condition is very good for its age, with just some minor surface wear. The metal tulip bases have various very light and shallow surface marks, nothing major. The chairs are mostly in excellent order, there is just one that has a very small hairline crack to the front edge, seen in the images. The purple upholstery is all clean and in excellent condition. The laminated white table top is in excellent condition with only some light surface wear. The outer edge of the table top has some very small chips and tiny cracks.

The Knoll badge is seen beneath the table base and all the chair bases.
