Handsome Edwardian mahogany chest on chest/ tallboy with serpentine shaped front in excellent condition. Of neat proportions, this chest on chest separates into 2 sections which allows for easy transportation in and around your home. The top section consists of an attractive flared cornice, canted edges, and an arrangement of 2 short drawers over 3 long drawers. The bottom section has another three drawers and stands on 4 bracket feet. All drawers run smoothly have dovetail joints construction, cock bead edges and retain original swan shape handles. Like all antique furniture there are some imperfections but these only add to the charm and character of this solid chest of drawers. With its incredible colouring and amazing graining this is a striking example of period furniture offering a lot of storage space and history to any home.
