A lovely Big Basket, no longer required by our National Postal Company the G.P.O. ( General Post Office) as is stamped on both sides

This large strong basket has a strengthening vellum covered top edge and corners protectors, it is in strong sound condition, though a few strands of the wicker is missing from the bottom.
So Many uses for this great piece no longer need for loading and unloading from the railway train, it would work very well for laundry, toys and of course logs next winter
The basket is 25” high, 47” long and 25” deep back to front
