Early 20th C silver half hunter pocket watch
Early 20thC silver half hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside all three covers for 935 silver, so slightly purer than sterling silver. The case is in good condition for an antique piece, there is one pin-prick to the front and a few little marks to the back and general light surface marking, nothing too detrimental at all.
The front cover has a central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition.
The dial is in lovely condition with original pin-set hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
