Early 1950s mid-size Roamer wrist watch
Early 1950s mid-size Roamer wrist watch.
The watch has a 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Roamer Watch Co.
The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it is classed as a mid-size piece. The case is gold filled and is signed inside with the initials LTG for L. Tièche-Gammeter. Tièche-Gammeter registered the Roamer name in 1908. The case has a little pitting to the back, and general light surface marking but overall good condition for a 1950s piece.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish. There is freckling but not overly noticeable to the naked eye.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
