Postmark. Southampton, Nov 25th, 1912.
Stamp is King George V Halfpenny Stamp 1910-1936.
The postal price in the UK was 1/2d up to the 3rd June 1918.
The first public film show in the UK to a paying audience took place in London in 1896.
The first part talkie took place in 1929 in the UK and into the 1930s.
So this card was made in the time of silent films.

The postcard is supplied in a plastic sleeve with a blank greetings card with a photowindow + envelope so you can send it as your own unique greetings card, be it for a birthday, valentines or any special occasion or celebration.
Sending a little piece of history chosen by you. This is not a reproduction, it is a genuine antique original around 100 years old !
They are also a lovely bit of social history, if it isn't blank you often get to see what people were writing to each other over a century ago.
Please be aware, as these may have been through the postal system once already and are often over 100 years old, some fading and wear comensurate with age is inevitable.
If you are looking for a pristine, new, mint, squeeky condition, these are probably not for you, although some are in very good condition.
