Here we have a rare and wonderful Victorian Family diorama c1840. As you can see the diorama is in wonderful untouched condition. It appears that this could be a family of just the children with the oldest daughter holding the youngest sibling as there is no Male figure in the line up. The figures are all porcelain or glazed bisque. There is also a pottery dog. The background has a beatiful charger on the wall and paste micro mosaic wall decoration. All the costumes are authentic and right for the period. A super rare piece of folk art in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 40 cm wide 26 cm high 7 cm deep.
