A very attractive Danish rosewood credenza chest of 4 drawers designed by Gunni Oman and produced by Oman Jun in the 1960s. Raised on ebonised legs, the cabinet comprises 2 deep drawers above 2 shallow drawers, all with cross-banded fronts. The deep upper drawers each have a drop in shelf which provides a discreet storage facility or may be used as a lift-out shelf to increase storage capacity without crushing items. A versatile piece of mid-20th century furniture that can be used as either a sideboard, media or office cabinet. The unit is a very convenient size and in wonderful condition with only very minor compression marks on the top surface which do not detract from the overall appearance.
