A mid 19th Century Daguerrotype depicting a seated Lady. It is in it's original folding Leather 'book' frame and has original embossed velvet on inside. The 'Photo' has a Gilt Metal frame. The Hook catch is still there but has lost the locking loop. Dimensions are:- 7.3cms x cms x 1.5cms. The Hinge has become loose and has been strengthened with black tape.c.1830-60 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
