A beautiful coquilla sewing egg, etui or thimble case, a little larger than the average. Measuring 2 7/8″ long x 1 7/8″ diameter. Skilfully turned and carved with tiny beads and entwined circles, such a tactile example of treen. It unscrews smoothly to reveal a useful space for storing thimbles and small sewing accessories. A very good example and so decorative.
