A very attractive early 19th cent, continental walnut candle box. This has moulded carving to the top upstand and to the front of the box. The top lifts on its original pivot hinges, it has a single drawer with the original knob all standing on shaped continental style feet. It has a fine old colour and is in excellent, strong condition. Sizes: 9”(23cms) wide, 6 ½ “(16cms) deep, 17 ½ “(45cms) high. Date circa 1820. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal.
