A stunning set of 7 original Anglo / French still life oil paintings of flowers in vases. All of the paintings are by the same hand (M.B.) and some seem to be from a series of paintings. One or the paintings has a full signature, but it is indistinguishable. The same painting has a note to the reverse which is signed what looks to be Marie Beechmont.
The paintings are very well executed, with some being painted in a thick impasto technique. All the paintings were executed between 1942 and 1945. They boards they are painted on vary from professional artist boards to reclaimed board.

The paintings vary in sizes, the smallest is 28.5cm x 19cm and the largest is 40cm x 30cm.

We are selling them together as it would be good to keep the group complete and also that display beautifully as a group.

Condition:
The condition is generally good. They would all benefit from a clean. The first painting has some water streaks to the right hand side. There is some water damage to the back of the painting numbered No. 21.

We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.

Any items that are picked up must be paid in cash.
