Good quality mid 20th.c. Chinese Carved Chest c.1950. Unusual pale colour and restrained design with carved border detail to the top, front and sides and repeated on the feet. The interior is lined with fragrant camphorwood and has a single sliding tray. Excellent condition retaining the original brass clasp and lock and maker’s label for George Zee & Co. of Kowloon.
