Charles I Style Oak Nest of Tables
Here is a good quality and practical Charles I style nest of antique tables, circa mid 20th Century, in excellent condition.

Here is a good quality and practical Charles I style nest of tables, circa mid 20th Century, in excellent condition. They are a reproduction of an early and primitive set of oak nest of antique tables from the early 17th century period, when Charles 1st was on the throne. The three tables slide comfortably into each other, ideal when they need to be stored away when not in use. The tables feature solid oak tops above a carved linen fold apron on both sides of the smallest table. Below, the tables’ stand on baluster ring turned legs with connecting stretchers for added stability and sits on block feet. The box boasts an excellent colour.
This nest of tables is ideal for the living room, as either magazine, lamp or side tables that can be dotted around the room. They are small enough to be carried around in the house wherever a small stool or table was required.
This item features a rich dark brown oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
Condition Report
These tables are in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no stains or cup marks to the tops. The tables retain the original polish, which is the reason why it displays such as stunning deep rich dark oak colour. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
