Fine example of the classic late 19th carved lindenwood ‘Black Forest’ bear c.1890. A large bear standing to hold a leaf torchere in one hand and shell shaped dish in the other. Beautifully carved, excellent colour and condition, with patina to the nose from years of affectionate attention. The shell is a later replacement, otherwise original through.
