Candle box George III Mahogany c1780
Here we have an excellent example of a George III Mahogany candle box c1780. As you can see the box has super colour and patina. There is a shaped top and original hinges. The sarcophagus shaped body has an inlaid Box wood string to the front and the box sits on a shallow plinth base. A super period box in great retail condition. The dimensions are approx 15 inches high 5.5 deep and 7.5 wide.
