Good quality early 20th.c. brass marine barometer c.1920. Brass cylinder cased mercury stick barometer on the original articulated gimble, designed to compensate for the movement of the ship at sea. Engraved silvered dial named for JJBLM 16 a 22 R.N Desterro Lisbon. Very good working condition, though the little marker to the right of the tube no longer moves.
