Attractive Ercol Windsor Three Piece Suite
An attractive three piece suite from the Ercol antique furniture range. We date this suite to the 1960/70s.
The suite is upholstered in a green and red patterned woven fabric. The settee and chairs have spindle backrests and a webbed base. The seat and back cushions are reversible and it comes with four scatter cushions.
The frame has been refinished and re webbed at some time in the past.
The settee has a height of 31.5" (80cm), an overall width of 69" (173cm), an overall depth of 36" (92cm), a backrest cushion height of 20.5" (52cm), a seat height of 15" (38cm), a seat width of 61" (155cm) (between the armrests) and a seat depth of 23" (59cm).
The chairs have a height of 31.5" (80cm), an overall width of 28" (71cm), an overall depth of 33" (85cm), a backrest cushion height of 20.5" (52cm), a seat height of 14" (36cm), a seat width of 21" (54cm) (between the armrests) and a seat depth of 22" (56cm).
This attractive Ercol suite remains in a very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including some minor marks to the frame and fabric. The fabric has some wear primarily to one seat cushion having a slightly heavier worn area to one side. There is some slight splitting to the top of the backrest at the rear of the bentwood frames in the armchairs, one arm chair is slightly worse than the other.
This remains a very stylish and elegant Ercol suite which is very comfortable and supportive to sit on. It will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
