Stylish matching pair of Art Deco figural bookends dating to the 1930's. Originating from France the figures are made from cold painted spelter and rest on solid marble plinths. Dressed in the fashion of the day with curled bob hair cuts, little black shoes and simple slip dresses these girls stand very tall 25 cm in height! ideal then for supporting larger books along with regular size.
