Here we have a wonderful rare George III Ladies wing armchair c1770. As you can see the chair has been beautifully re-upholstered in a large pattern pure wool tartan. The chair has wonderful proportions and will not dominate a room. The chair is very comfortable and is solid throughout and capable of being used every day. The chair has a solid Beech frame as you would expect and the legs are Mahogany and of typical form being straight and moulded. The legs are joined by an H stretcher. There are original casters to the base. A super period and rare wing armchair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 39 inches wide 29 wide and seat height 19.
