This is an exquisite example of a Regency tea caddy inlaid with delicate brass scroll work on a Brazilian rosewood base. It has a fully fitted lined interior of two tea canisters and a cut glass mixing bowl to the centre. The tea canisters and the inside of the lid are also inlaid with brass scroll work. The box sits on gadrooned feet. The tea caddy is in excellent condition with no chips or missing veneer or brass work.
