Quality Desk Stand - Victorian Coromandel - c1860

A gorgeous desk writing stand of pleasing proportion presented in fine coromandel wood.

This brass bound piece provides much interest with dome top opening to reveal lined storage for writing paper and documents.

Twin ink wells and pen recess to the top surface are complemented by the fine brass work and stunning colour of the fine coromandel timber.

With lower drawer lined with velvet.

Certainly a superior example with wonderful detail throughout. Original lock to the upper box section, however no key.

Overall a top quality and attractive original item of desk antique furniture which will be wonderful in any home or collection. Very rare in this style and quality.
