For your consideration this unusual wooden church box, possibly a bible box.

Difficult to date but I would say that it is early 20th century although the top hinges look to be Victorian. A charming rustic box that is full of character and is very heavy in weight.

Length - 44 cm/Width - 27 cm/Height - 17 cm

Condition
Very sturdy, solid box that is free of any damaged, and the hinges work well. Expected surface wear and surface scratches all commensurate with age and use.

The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
