The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620 with starwheel regulator and gold jewelled pallets, which is working nicely. The beautifully patterned high grade movement is fully signed and the serial number 13,626,262 dates it back to 1904. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison... the Dennison Watch Case Company made most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has some rubbing to the bottom where it has sat in a pocket and the odd small surface mark but overall very acceptable for a 1904 piece.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
