Antique Waltham half hunter pocket watch, 1908

The watch has a seven jewel Traveler grade stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 17,421,848 dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons made most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in good condition with just the odd minor mark, and a small patch of rubbing to the edge (between the two hinges).
The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed. The dial is in good condition, just a light surface scratch running between the sub seconds dial and number 9 but it is very difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
