Antique Victorian 18CT Gold Pocket Watch c1844

A very good quality, Gentleman's Antique 18CT Gold Pocket Watch.
The watch is in very good overall condition and in working order.
The English made, 18CT gold case is in very good condition. It is hallmarked with maker's mark "RR", the "crown" above "18" for 18 carat gold, the Leopard's Head london town mark and date letter for 1844/45. The case is in very good overall condition. It has engine turned engraved decoration to the rear cover with a small circular central cartouche that has engraved initials. The case has the serial number 6390 to match the movement proving both are original and been together since new.
The English Fusee movement is in working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided.
The dial is in excellent condition, see photo. It has Roman numerals for the hours and engraved decoration to the centre.
The watch measures approximately 45mm in diameter (excluding stem and bow ring).
