Antique travel trunk by J Burton & Bro
A wonderful looking vintage travel trunk by J. Burton & Bro
The trunk will date to early 1900's and is in lovely condition
The name plate & detailed 'signature' brass buttons all intact
The trunk is a delightful visual piece whist being good for storage too.
I'd believe the exterior paint to be original, the inside paint having been touched up if not 'repainted' historically.
There is, as would be expected, signs of previous use. There are minor knocks and scrapes but certainly nothing distracting.
The top is strong, sound and flat and so the piece would work as a table as is often required.
'A highly rated' piece.
