Antique travel trunk original 19thc wood and metal bound flat top steamer travel trunk fitted with iron bound handles to either end and wooden rubbing strakes this lovely large 19th c Victorian trunk bound in wood and metal with metal clip clasps and a hasp central lock but no key and has 4 small brass castors to the base for easy moving.
The interior has its original lining paper
very solid strong well made solid piece of antique Victorian shipping luggage
The trunk has a flat top and would be ideal for use as a very quirky eye catching coffee table with lots of room inside for storage of items books magazines shoes toys ect would make a great childrends pirate treasure
