Antique Tantalus Oak Triple Decanter Set Fine
Quality Oak Triple Decanter Tantalus - Superb Condition - c1880
A gorgeous Victorian English Triple Decanter Tantalus presented in excellent condition.
This wonderful example has been diligently cared for and delivers top quality.
A trio of original cut-glass decanters, complete with stoppers, are housed within a golden oak case.
The decanters sit into lined cubbies and enjoy a mirror back for additional display glamour.
An original lock and key operate to secure the main compartment - this opens at which point the decanters can be removed. The butterfly doors fold back to reveal a useful storage area complete with a pair of tasting goblets.
A pop-out lower drawer is activated by a hidden button and this opens to present a cribbage board and storage for playing cards.
Overall a top quality and attractive original tantalus which will be wonderful in any home or collection. Very rare in this style and quality and offering the opportunity to be a perfect gift.
