Antique Super King sze Italian Maple & Walnut Bed
Superb Italian Maple and Walnut Super King Size 6ft Bed and dating from around 1900. The maple headboard has a dark walnut carved serpentine shaped show frame with carved cartouche to the centre and carved to the shoulders. The maple footboard with carved serpentine shaped walnut frame carved to the shoulders and centre and with a lovely carved and shaped frieze to the base. It stands on lovely carved walnut cabriole legs and has its original maple side rails.
A superb quality bed in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to both the walnut and maple oozing all the charm and character of the period.
