Antique Stick Barometer, Thermometer, c.1860
This is an antique stick barometer by Carpenter and Westley, 24 Regents Street, London. Dome topped, in oak and dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1860.
Of fine quality by renowned London maker, Carpenter and Westley
Cased in English oak displaying grain interest and a desirable patina
Bright, clear hand engraved scales with a pair of vernier slides
The slides adjusted by the pair of original knobs
Featuring a thermometer in the shaft
Over lower turned cistern cover
The back retains the original installation instructions
