Antique Silver Watch Chain With Unusual Locket
Antique silver watch chain with unusual locket.
The chain measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion silver mark, and the clasp is hallmarked for 1905.
Also included is an unusual Victorian locket, hallmarked for 1889 with a maker’s mark for the London and Birmingham silversmith John Millward Banks. The locket measures 22mm wide and 21mm high excluding the fittings. There is some unevenness to the back of the locket.
Total weight 27.5g.
