Antique silver Waltham pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27732161 which dates it back to 1932. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1927, with a case maker’s mark for the Eclipse Watch Case Company, Villa Road, Handsworth, Birmingham. The case is in good condition with just minor marks, nothing serious at all. The movement is possibly later although correct for the case.
The watch glass is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.
The signed dial also has the retailers name on it W.Greenwood & Sons, Leeds & Huddersfield. is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with a silver albert, 30cm long including the T bar and clasp.
Some of the links on the chain have the remnants of the lion passant mark and the clasp is stamped SS (Sterling silver). The chain has a silver 1887 coin with Queen Victoria's head. Total weight of the chain & coin are 28.6g.
