The watch has a stem-winding movement,grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11694262 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1924 with a maker’s mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a couple of mild bruises to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The movement is later to the case although correct.
The glass lens is in nice condition.
The signed white enamel dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks below the sub seconds dial although hardly noticeable.
The watch has its original gold hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
