The watch has a 13 jewel stem-winding movement, A.W.W.Co grade , which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 5575764 which dates it back to between October and November 1892. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver with rose gold hinges and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1891 with a maker’s mark for Alfred Bedford managing director of Waltham UK. The case is in nice condition.
The glass lens is in nice condition.
The dial is signed with the original retailers name Fattorini & sons, Bradford. The dial has several faint hairline cracks to the centre of the chapter ring although not over noticeable.
The watch has its original silver hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
