The watch has an unsigned Omega stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Watch manufacturers often supplied unsigned watches as private label pieces, to be sold under the retailer’s name. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1907 with a sponsor’s mark of SA. SA stands for Selling Agency and is generally believed to be a subsidiary of Dimier Brothers, set up to handle the import of Omega watches into the UK from 1907 when it was a legal requirement that all gold and silver watches had to be assayed.
The case is in good condition with just minor marking, nothing serious at all. The rose gold highlights on the tab, hinges and crown are a nice touch. The back of the watch has the initials of a previous owner, PB.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are a few hairline cracks towards the bottom of the dial but they are faint.
