Antique silver Minerva pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a high grade movement, 17 jewels, four adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1924 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, the Dennison Watch Case Company supplied various watch makers with cases. The case has light surface marking to the back, and a little gentle unevenness, but overall very acceptable for a 1920s piece.
The watch glass is in lovely condition.
The dial is in super condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single Continental silver chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
