Half Hunter Pocket Watch in Original Box


A silver JW Benson, London half hunter pocket watch in original JW Benson box, hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1933, made in Switzerland.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London, Swiss Made". The protective original glass is in great condition.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed “JW Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”.

Case: The watch lies in a silver ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped and hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1933 and stamped ALD and numbered: 622298. The front of the half hunter silver case has blue enamel Roman numerals.

The watch comes in original box which is signed: “JW Benson Ltd, Watchmakers, Jewellers & Silversmiths, 62 &64 Ludgate Hill”.
