Antique silver Improved Patent watch and chain
An antique silver Improved Patent pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch is larger than normal at 58mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop, as opposed to the standard 50mm. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1902 with a maker's mark for William Ehrhardt. The case has some unevenness to the back but overall is in good condition, and the engine turned detail is still nice and crisp.
The glass is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition, just a very small patch of very short hairlines on the very edge but covered by the bezel so not visible when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes with a single chain which measures 41cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also included is a silver fob with a rose gold wash, awarded for snooker playing... we can remove this fob if it is not needed and the price will be reduced accordingly.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
